Haydn has taught my daughter the piano for years. He has huge amounts of patience and kindness. When my daughter learns with him, he shares his love of music, as well as all the practical skills. Sometimes they focus on songs that she’s passionate about, which really motivates her. We are not a very musical family, and it has been a real joy to watch my daughter get better and better at something I never managed to master, with Haydn’s guidance. Now even I know what musical note our fire alarm rings with! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Haydn to anyone. My daughter loves his lessons.

Haydn has taught piano to both of my children online (during successive lockdowns) and in a school environment. My son continues with Piano and my daughter is now studying music performance and production at college. Haydn also continues to mentor and teach me jazz piano online where I have now learned to play many jazz standards over the last 18 or so months. He comes highly recommended and has also helped me with my guitar playing.

When we asked our daughters what was the first thing it came to their minds when thinking about their lessons with Haydn, they instantly said: patient and kind. As a parent I can only add that he took two very young girls that had no exposure to piano and music and within the space of a few months they were reading music and playing piano. My children have been having lessons with Haydn for a few years now and he has taken my son through a number of piano grades. I asked my children what they both thought of him and they told me that they liked Haydn because he is very understanding and patient, he always listens and he makes the piano fun. In particular he is very good at helping you to focus on what you need to be doing when you play and at explaining mistakes and the importance of finguring. They also both told me that he is also kind and caring. I can’t imaging better feedback than that!
